Waah tired
Just got back from Kuala Lumpur! And it's the second time this week. Aah gee I'm all worn out from sitting at the back of different cars, walking around in show units, looking at houses, stuck in traffic jams, walking in shopping malls, carrying paper bags, nodding off in the middle of long journeys and eating.
Oh my gosh I had no idea outdoor showers were soooo cool!!! *excited* I so want one in my own house next time! And an outdoor jacuzzi. Waaaaahhhhhh *jumps up and down*
We're all glad to finally get to see/sit in the new Lexus S400 he got for her. I think it's such a sweet thing for him to do, considering he normally appears to be cold and reserved. When we went to collect the car, a comical yet heartwarming event happened. So we were all crowding around the car, inspecting and admiring it. The salesperson's wife was with us and so were her 4 kids - 1 boy and 3 girls. I was probably just standing around, staring at the back of the car, minding my own business, when suddenly I felt something wrap itself around my left thigh (hehehehe get that smirk off your face you pervert). I looked down and saw the youngest daughter clinging onto my thigh and hugging herself close to me!! Holy crap you have no idea how stunned I was! Okay I admit - I'm not a huge child lover. I don't like babies or kids in general, they annoy me to no end. So when the 4 year old girl clung onto me, I pretty much had no idea what to do except to laugh. I patted her head as she continued to hug my leg (hmmm). She (not the little girl) said perhaps she (the little girl) had just woken up and had confused me with her mother. Then her (the little girl's mother) came along and asked her to let go of me but she still didn't want to, until her mother said she'll have to go back to Penang with me if she doesn't let go. Hehe her arms loosened in a nanosecond! I carried on staring at the car when she came running back to me and flung her arms around my thigh again (ooh err!)! Haha gee I was still in a state of shock and trying not to burst into fits. It was just the cutest thing that has ever happened to me.. and so I let her hug me as I gently stroked her hair and patted her shoulders. He signed some papers as we watched. A while after the little girl's mother asked her to let me go but she refused. Lollll.. =) "Let ce ce (Cantonese for 'big sister') go, she has to go back." But she still didn't want to! Well, she did eventually, but only to run up to her mother and ask whether I could stay. Hahahahaha gee! When her mother replied "No she can't stay", she ran back to me and continued hugging me. Lol.. Her mother even had to say "Let ce ce go. She's not your doll." Yes, my fringe, the big fat culprit. Then, she let go of me and ran off somewhere. When she returned, she had a little yellow flower for me!!! MY GOD I have never been treated this way by a little kid before. When it was time to go, we waved goodbye and got into the car. She went to pluck yet another yellow flower and wanted to give it to me even though I had already gotten into the car! Hehe she managed to pass it to me somehow.. gosh.. how truly heartwarming =) It kept me smiling for the rest of the day, and I've kept the flowers enveloped in a piece of tissue. It's crazy. My heart almost ached for a few minutes. If I had chosen a different path.. well. Yeah.
It's good to be home!
