Grrrr
Big momma R A N T. What is this. How do you explain it when you're hiding in the bathroom crying your eyes out, and you know that at the same time you are doing this, he's out there enjoying himself, having bucketloads of fun? How about when you're having a shitty day and you're trying to confide in someone, but I don't know.. he's having too much fun? Or God forbid, technical difficulties take place that you don't know of. And that you were right when you thought she would respond faster than he would. Or that he didn't at all.
Can't believe how tough it was to get today over with. The crazy lines that would not fucking go away or show any sign of dying. The fuckheads that won't move out of your way when you're running around like a headless chicken, trying to do your job. Why the hell are we always understaffed. What the fuck it's the weekend and its holiday season. One second I'm inside the bar, rushing and rushing and just pushing things out one after another one after another and I'm still moving and moving but the orders just keep coming and coming. Then next second I'm out there taking things out giving them away then being asked for this and that and this and that. Fuck I can't do all that while I still have to keep taking out, and I'm also needed back there. Why can't people just wait. Goddammit we're not a fast food joint. And seriously 20 minutes what the fuck don't you know that's the fastest waiting time or the average waiting time we try to achieve during the weekend. People just want fucking everything. And you just can't be nice to people, because you don't get it back. What do you get. It doesn't pay. What the hell that fuckhead made my eyes swell up can't you see that we were being nice? You fucking take it away, or you just shut up and say thank you for our generosity. But no, you want to cancel one just because of our kindness. What is going on. And curse my goddamn runny nose go away dammit how annoying is it to have to try not to snort while you're explaining how to drink a drink that's supposed to be yum and then have it run out and you have no choice but to snort and oh god that disgusting sound.
It died a slow death. My god it was over, I never thought I'd make it. That breaking point happened, when I actually seriously considered 1) absolutely stop everything I was doing and just go into the cool room to have a big cry, and 2) whether if I were managing I would yell FUCK that's it and accept no more customers, throw the towel in, ask everyone to shut up and wait and close the shop up. But then life goes on. That didn't happen and we just kept moving. And moving. And moving. I wonder sometimes why we move so fast.
Oh jesus. Someone give me a holiday.

What are you, my air?
There's something about a couple in love that makes me smile and comforts me somewhat. Maybe it's the way they light each other up when they're around one another, maybe it's the way they finish each other's sentences, maybe it's that crazy spark in their eyes when they look at each other, or maybe it's the silly smirks on their faces as they catch glances of one another at alternate moments. It's so delicate, and you almost miss it if you just look but do not see. How many of us are lucky enough to experience this, or witness this and be touched by it? And how long can you hold onto these moments for?
