Shopping day!
So I actually woke up at 10:50am just to go all the way to East Richmond to the Bloom warehouse sale! Actually, I intended on waking up at 10:30am and the alarm on my phone just kept ringing away for 20 minutes without me realizing until he walked in and asked, "Is that your phone?"
Man, I had to line up for 50 minutes to wait to get into the Bloom warehouse!! And it wasn't that big either. No, correction. It was tiny! And I was disappointed as they didn't have much stuff. No lip balms. No lip glazes. No brushes. No candles. No blushes. No foundations. No primers. Only 2 types of lipglosses in icky looking shades. Only one type of palette. Only 2 types of strange looking nailpolish. Tons of lip crayons/lip pencils/body shimmer that I don't use. Baah. But still ended up with $51 worth of stuff, when I thought I would only be spending $20 or $30 the most. Ah I'm still happy, as the total of the stuff I bought actually retails for well over $100 or $200, I'll calculate later. And I did manage to get some good stuff that I can give to friends as presents! And I scored bottles of shampoo and conditioner and body cleanser for only $1 each! And I just had to grab 2 of their Bloom t-shirts as they were only $1 each. $1!!! Can you imagine!!!!!
Ventured off to LinCraft to pick up some pretty ribbons after that, then headed over to David Jones to get a present for her. They didn't have the My Little Pony picnic set I was initially set (no pun intended) on getting for her, but I ended up getting some My Little Pony Moondazzle set (or something) for her instead. Seeing the ponies brought back so many fond memories that I couldn't resist getting a pony for myself =) Wanted to get 2 ponies instead of just one as I couldn't decide on which one at first, but then reminded myself that I don't have much money left so got only one in the end. I think I still prefer the ponies from my generation (I sound so old don't I) though, as back then we could choose between the skinny ones and the fat ones. I've always prefered the skinny ones. The ones they're manufacturing now are like a cross between skinny and fat. But still, it's good to see they're continuing to make them after such a long dry spell. I was almost devastated to know that there was no longer My Little Pony for sale on the market a few years ago. Aah I wonder where all my ponies from last time have gone! So far I've only found like, 4 or 5? I used to have a little collection of them! I wonder how much they're worth now if I were to find the others.
Then headed over to Priceline to pick up some Dove cotton pads and Dove Body Silk body cream. I don't want to finish up my Tommy Hilfiger Chocolate Cream Pie body cream.
Now drinking ice peach tea. Yum yum.
Some things are best not thought about.
Gotta shower straight after this and make my hair happy. And I think the sake from just now is starting to get to me. Body's practically crying out for water.
