It's been a year

Merry Christmas, everyone.

I'm now munching on a candy cane, very festival indeed. Well, as usual, I'm stuck at home on Christmas eve. It's been like this all along, every single year. Not to mention New Year eve as well. Why? They always say no when I ask whether I can go out to join my friends, and they'll say, "Family comes first." I, being the daughter who never wants to upset my parents, always reluctantly listen.

I think I'm lost. And I definitely need to sort myself out. I need to feel found again. I don't care even if it's going to take an entire year to figure myself out. I'm gonna take it slow until I find myself again. I can't even find my self-esteem anymore. I admit what I had previously was pretty minimal, now it's dropped to probably somewhere around the negative note. I think I'm just craving for a change.

Mm I've forgotten how yummy candy canes taste =)
