Was walking along La Trobe St just now when an Aussie dude suddenly came up to me, opened up his arms and said, "Can I please have a hug?" I winced behind my sunnies, squirmed and fastened my steps. "Come on, just a quick friendly hug?" I heard him call out behind me as I walked away. What a freak. Good thing he didn't come running after me.

I really enjoy seeing people happy. I'm not sure why. I like being surrounded by smiley people. It's infectious, and eventually it'll get me smiling too.

What's it like to miss someone? Is it the nagging thought that you're walking alone? Or that there's no one there to hold your hand? What if you don't want someone touching you, but just want someone to be there? Or when you feel like seeing someone but you can't?
